New work

I am currently working on a new series of works for next year. I have made a few portraits and some new landscapes so far using digital media, gold and drawing. I hope to amass a number of works in order for me to be selective later on. I also plan to make structures.
The show at Transition starts tomorrow and the show at five hundred has been extended to be incorporated into the next first thursday.

The show at five hundred gallery if being extended to incorporate the next first Thursday and the show at Transition is on now culminating in an auction on Saturday. I have a great day planned for Saturday, lurching through 4 galleries, one of which is completely new to me. Research is carrying on for Ickworth and my ideas are slowly formulating fot next Aprils show. Clearer ideas are coming faster and I now feel quite excited at the potential of what I can make.
I am going to emerge myself in the library tomorrow as well as working into new ideas. Looking forward to the possibilities that may lie ahead.

Visual Tourettes

All the coordination for next years shows up and down the country are coming into place, like Boeing 747's on a runway out of here. I have had a week of work, meetings, meetings, private views and xrays. Lets hope the excitement dies down a bit outside of artwork production.
I had the pleasure of meeting up with a friend as well as go to the National and National Portrait again before the PV at five hundred dollars on Thursday, where we discussed another project lined up for April. We are planning to get another London venue on board in order for it to make sense, so I hope the others are up for that.
I have been left with a terrific amount of research in place for me to read and absorb this week, including the stories of the lives of people that have lived and worked at Ickworth, Dr Johnsons tourettes, islands and caves, stumps, disguise and escape. Perhaps I will work towards an amalgam.

my head

The last few days have been away from the norm.
Unknown to me a small tornado whipped up to create a scenario, which with hind sight must have been a very funny sight indeed. I was mid haircut when I became involved and intimate with a roof tile from a friends house and now have six stitches in my head. Feeling very attractive with a third haircut, a third tile slice and a third old hair I consider myself very lucky indeed as on returning to the garden after a brief trip to A & E, the offending 1" thick concrete tile remains, now in three pieces, having sliced through my head and the lawn to a depth of at least 10cms.
I have now had two near death experiences, with seven more, if I were a cat, to go.

London bound

I have been asked by Cathy Lomax to be part of a show of works for auction titled Art Blitz that opens on 27th November if you have some cash and want to buy some really exciting artwork. I have also been asked to be part of a silent auction of works for Five Hundred Dollars Gallery in Vyner Street London, also in the month of November, so this month I am London bound and I hope you will be too.
